I am all for these sweeps keep up the good work is my opinion. I am tired of some of the problems we are having to deal with because of illegals. My husband's car was totaled by an illegal, no license, no insurance, no registration, no insurance. Just the other day one of our parishioners at St TImothy's said she had a rear end collusion & the guy told her he didn't have a license, insurance, nothing, he didn't ;need one because he doesn't live here.

I am also fed up with Smog Checks. My question does every car AND TRUCK that comes across that Mexican border have to have smog checks and meet our standards? I have seen Mexican tour buses racing down I 5 to LA in & out of carpool lanes.
ust what type of qualifications do they have to meet? Why should all of us here have to pay for this smog business if they don't. Obviously the smog isn't stopping at the border.
I also have been very much for President Bush until he has come up with of these stupid ideas about Mexico. He should try living here, pretty soon Escondido is going to look just like Tijuana. We already have multiple families buying the houses and cars all over the place. He isn't far from losing this supporter. Thanks for your ear.

Unless you grow all your own food, every meal you eat has been touched by illegal alien hands at some point in the supply chain. The same with the house you live in unless it was built before 1950.

And about the smog from mexi-trucks—don't hold your breath waiting for the laws to change.
