Folks now this is coming from me . . . and you know how I stand on this mess.

This sentencing recommendation is very chicken shi#. The word is that Cunningham has been cooperating. The max sentence for the crimes that he pled guilty to is 10-years. He cooperates and still gets a 10 year recommendation out of the prosecutor? I know that the judge makes the sentence. But the judges rely heavily upon sentencing recommendations.
This sentencing recommendation begs the question, "So why cooperate if I am going to get the max sentence recommendation anyhow?"

I still say that 3 to 4 years, at his age and life time parole, proves the point.

Ha, @!#$ HA! This POS finally gets what he deserves. I was ashamed of him when I lived in San Diego. He was a local disgrace and now he's a national disgrace. This is what happens when bravado meets unwarranted success. An ego the size of Montana erupts. I hope he withers away in jail like the crook he is.

After reading this article, 10 years seems too lenient.

Then why did he cooperate? He should have "kept his own counsel, not cooperated, kept his mouth shut and marched off to oblivion.”

Who knows why he cooperated. Hope? One last chance to play the Ace card? If I was looking at 10 years, (for his crimes) I would cooperate, if for no other reason than for my conscience and to at least appear to atone for what he did. What other choice or chance did he have?

No good behavior to speak of in the federal prison system.

That is what I meant that max sentence under the plea agreement was 10-years. The usual deal is that the perp gets a break on time if he rats out his crime partners . . . "Well, Duke youse got fuc•ed, welcome to reality criminal justice."

He does not have that life expectancy due to his medical condition. Read the report from his MD in the support document from his attorneys to the court.

Nice! Just give him 18 months and time off for good behavior and let him enjoy the rest of his life. he didn't do anything THAT bad.

He should get 3 to 6 years with a life time parole and enough community service to keep him occupied for the rest of his life. Lots of trash along the road of America.

Like I said, this thing is going to be bigger than Tea Pot Dome.

I think that he should get 25 years.

He is a traitor. A war profiteer...a scummy slim ball with no capacity for remorse or self-reproachment. An extreme case of narcissism.

I agree, hell give him 5 life times. But the deal was a max of 10-years.
